Our mainland China investment portfolio mainly comprises international standard Grade-A office and retail spaces in the major cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and other provincial capitals.

The standard of our investment portfolio is exemplified by World Financial Centre (wfc) in Beijing. As the first truly international Grade-A office complex, the award-winning wfc fulfils the strong demand from multinational companies for intelligent office complexes in Beijing's Central Business District. Designed by Cesar Pelli, one of the world's most renowned master architects, with optimum environmental-friendliness in mind, wfc is an impressive showcase for the next generation of green building design and management philosophies and practices. Henderson Land has adhered to the highest standards of LEED and BEAM environmental assessment and certification requirements at every stage of the design and construction process.

We have used the winning formula behind the design of Beijing's wfc in planning for other major investment properties such as the Shenyang International Finance Centre. When completed, it will set a new benchmark for high-end multi-use complexes in northeast China, combining intelligent design and architecture with state-of-the-art building facilities and management.

The composition and quality of our portfolio is steadily being enhanced with the ongoing completion of further investment properties. Other major investment properties to be added to the portfolio include 2.3 million sq. ft. of commercial space in Shanghai.  The two new investment properties, Centro and Henderson Metropolitan have been completed in 2010.
