Mr. Lee Ka Shing, a Committee Member of the 10th Guangxi Zhuangzu Zizhiqu Committee and of the 10th Foshan Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, PRC, has been an Executive Director of the Company since 1993 and Vice Chairman since 2005. He was educated in Canada. Mr. Lee is the vice chairman of Henderson Development Limited ("Henderson Development"). He is also the vice chairman of Henderson Investment Limited, managing director of Miramar Hotel and Investment Company, Limited as well as a director of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, all of which are listed companies. Mr. Lee is the son of Dr. Lee Shau Kee, the brother of Ms. Lee Pui Man, Margaret and Mr. Lee Ka Kit and the brother-in-law of Mr. Li Ning.
