Henderson Land x Pok Oi Central Harbourfront Charity Run 2026 Successfully Concluded
As the Group’s first large-scale external celebratory event marking its 50th anniversary, the ‘Henderson Land x Pok Oi Central Harbourfront Charity Run 2026’ was successfully held on 25 January, attracting around 5,000 runners. The charity run combined sports with philanthropy to promote healthy living and inclusivity, while raising funds for the ‘Tai Po Fire Rehabilitation and Support Programme’ and ‘Pok Oi Hospital Tuen Mun Lam Tei Nursing and Residential Care Home for the Elderly’, with the aim of establishing the event as an annual charity highlight at the Central Harbourfront, to share love and positive energy through sport.
Farewell to the Snake, Welcome the Horse “Henderson 50th Anniversary Lunar Year Banquet for Elderly” on Valentine’s Day
On February 14th, the eve of the Lunar New Year, we welcomed 300 elderly community members for a joyful festive lunch and activities—sharing dishes and customs that carry memories and blessings across generations. Our volunteer team showed care and wrote spring festival couplets for the seniors. Several Legislative Council members and business representatives also presented New Year gift bags, ensuring that every elderly person felt the warm and lively atmosphere of the reunion as we welcomed the new year together!

Invites 3,200 seniors and families to enjoy the Carnival at Central Harbourfront
“Henderson Land 50th Anniversary Community Fun Day” well-celebrated as part of the Group’s 50th anniversary and Chinese New Year celebrations, the Henderson Land 50th Anniversary Community Fun Day was successfully held on 15 February, welcoming over 3,200 participants. The event brought together beneficiaries and community members to enjoy a vibrant carnival at the Central Harbourfront, featuring game booths and circus performances. The fun day aimed to spread laughter, love and uplifting energy throughout the community.
“Virtue Like Water · Henderson Land with Love” Lucky Bag Giveaway with the Community
Held on 17 March, marking both the lunar birthday of the late Lee Shau-kee and the first anniversary of his passing, the “Virtue Like Water · Henderson Land with Love” Lucky Bag Giveaway reached communities across Hong Kong through 50 distribution points. By sharing 50,000 lucky bags with the public, the initiative continues Dr Lee’s legacy of compassion and thanks the community for its steadfast support over Henderson Land’s 50‑year journey.
Distributing 50,000 “Caring Cane-Umbrellas” to Spread Care in the Community
Henderson Land, together with its listed associate The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas), launched the “Caring Cane-Umbrellas, Spreading Love” initiative. Led by Dr Martin Lee Ka-shing, Chairman of the Group, and Mrs Cathy Chui Lee, the Group’s volunteer team visited an elderly centre in Sham Shui Po and called on several elderly residents living alone, personally presenting them with caring cane umbrellas.
Through charitable organisations and the district offices of over 80 Legislative Council members, we distributed a total of 50,000 cane-umbrellas to elderly people and those in need, providing considerate support for the elderly’s daily mobility and upholding our founding mission of caring for the community.
Henderson Land Donates 500 Household Fans to Help Subdivided-Unit Families Beat the Summer Heat
As temperatures reached record highs in the summer of 2026, Henderson Land donated 500 household fans to member families in the Nam Cheong and Prince Edward Community Living Rooms. The initiative aims to help subdivided-unit families cope with the extreme summer heat, providing timely support and care to the community.
Nurturing Young Dance Talent and Connecting the Community through Art
As title sponsor of the Hong Kong Dance Company’s family‑friendly dance musical Panda‑rama, Henderson Land supported more than 400 young dancers across six summer performances. A total of 160 community members were invited to enjoy the performance and attend a pre‑show sharing session to learn more about giant pandas and wildlife conservation. By leveraging the power of the arts, the initiative inspires the next generation and strengthens community connections.
Through the “H．Dance Community Education Fund”, the Group also sponsors 20 young dancers each year, offering them access to professional dance training and stage performance opportunities to help them realise their artistic potential.
Lee Shau Kee Foundation Supports Outstanding Athletes in Pursuing Academic and Sporting Excellence at HKU
The Lee Shau Kee Foundation established the Lee Shau Kee Elite Athletes Scholarship at The University of Hong Kong to support outstanding student-athletes in achieving excellence in both academics and sports. Since its launch in 2022, the scholarship has supported 30 elite athletes. This year, HK$1.4 million has been awarded to four exceptional athletes in sailing, swimming, golf and fencing, helping them balance their academic commitments with the demands of elite-level training.
Henderson Land, together with the Lee Shau Kee Foundation, remains committed to nurturing the next generation of sporting talent and enabling young athletes to realise their full potential.
Henderson Land 50th Anniversary Staff Celebration
We welcome over 10,000 Group colleagues, along with their families and friends, to our celebratory event. In addition, we invite 10,000 members of the public (senior citizens, youths and grassroots families) to take part in a carnival at the Central Harbourfront and create precious memories together.
Flower Market:
A Blooming Success
Presented by Henderson Land, the immersive art installation “Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market” made its Asian debut at the Central Harbourfront from 19 to 22 March 2026. The event showcased more than 26 plush flower designs by Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry, including two bespoke Hong Kong commissions: the “Henderson Flower”, specially created to celebrate Henderson Land’s 50th anniversary, and the “Bauhinia”, which symbolises the spirit of Hong Kong while echoing the architectural lines of the Group’s flagship commercial landmark, The Henderson.
To encourage wider community participation, the Group also invited 160 children and seniors to preview the installation ahead of its official opening. This special experience allowed them to share in the joy of art and celebrate intergenerational inclusion, underscoring the Group’s commitment to giving back to the community.
Immersive Art Journey – Exploring the taste of HK
Central Yards Edible Art Fair
Henderson Land Group presents the world-first immersive experience during Art month in March – a journey where art, taste, and play come together to spark curiosity and surprise the senses.
10 galleries dedicated to prominent art movements, pairing visual installations with specially crafted edible creations. We invited 50 art students to join our guided tours, aiming to inspire the next generation’s passion and creativity in the arts.
