Mr Wu King Cheong has been an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company since 2005. He is also the chairman of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee of the Company, and a member of the Audit Committee and the Whistleblowing Committee of the Company. Mr Wu is the Life Honorary Chairman of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Honorary Permanent President of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and the Permanent Honorary President of the Hong Kong Securities Association Limited. He is an independent non-executive director of Henderson Investment Limited, Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings) Company Limited, Miramar Hotel and Investment Company, Limited and Yau Lee Holdings Limited, all of which are listed companies.
