Henderson Development Group “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” Grand Draw — Winners of 200 Taels of 9999 Gold Revealed

The Grand Draw of the “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” launched by Henderson Development Group was successfully held on 20 September 2021. Drawn by Mr. Martin Lee Ka-shing, Chairman of Henderson Land Group, using a computerised system, the First, Second and Third Prize winners were awarded a total of 200 taels of 9999 gold, 60 taels of which (valued at over HK$1 million) went to the sole Frist Prize winner.

Commenting on the Incentive Scheme, Mr. Martin Lee Ka-shing, Chairman of Henderson Land Group, said: “Congratulations to all winners, and my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has participated in the lucky draws. With the concerted effort across the board over the past few months, the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong has been brought under control. However, we must not let our guard down as the pandemic continues to pose a menace to Hong Kong, as well as many parts of the world. Going forward, I hope more people will get vaccinated so that our city can be protected against the coronavirus and our lives can return to normal soon.”

Adhering to rigorous standards, the Grand Draw was conducted with a computer-based lucky draw system designed by Ernst & Young Advisory Services Limited and was witnessed by representatives of the independent audit firm KPMG. Among the 11 Gold Prize winners drawn, the First Prize winner was awarded 60 taels of 9999 gold, valued at over HK$1 million; while two Second Prize winners each received 30 taels of gold, and eight Third Prize winners each received 10 taels of gold. In addition, 200 Chill Prize winners were each offered HK$1,000 worth of spending vouchers.

The Grand Draw results were published in The South China Morning Post and The Sing Tao Daily today, and detailed prize redemption instructions have also been announced on the Lucky Draw website at www.hldluckydraw.hk. Winners will be notified individually via telephone or SMS to their registered Hong Kong mobile phone number within five days of the Draw date.

Launched by Henderson Development Group in June this year, the “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” has held a series of six lucky draws over the course of three months, with the total registrations exceeding 2.1 million. In the first five Draws alone, the Group has given away 100 taels of 9999 gold and 1,000 sets of spending vouchers worth HK$1,000 per set. Altogether, over HK$6.3 million worth of prizes have been given out in the series of six lucky draws.
