Henderson Development Group “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” 1st Draw Results Announced – Giveaway of 20 Taels of 9999 Gold

Launched by Henderson Development Group in late June this year, the “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” is aimed at incentivising and motivating the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible. A series of six Lucky Draws will be held once every two weeks over the course of three months, with the first Draw scheduled for 8 July 2021 and the last scheduled for 20 September 2021. Altogether, a total of 300 taels of 9999 gold and 1,200 sets of spending vouchers worth HK$1,000 per set will be given away.

Witnessed by a representative of the independent audit firm KPMG, the Group conducted the 1st Draw on 8 July 2021, during which 20 Gold Prize winners and 200 Chill Prize winners were drawn. The 1st Draw results were published in The South China Morning Post and The Sing Tao Daily today, and detailed prize redemption instructions have also been announced on the Lucky Draw website at www.hldluckydraw.hk. Each prize winner is notified via SMS to his/her registered mobile number on or before 12 July 2021 (Monday).

There are still five more Lucky Draws to come, including the Grand Draw to be held in September, in which one winner will be awarded the Grand Prize of 60 taels of 9999 gold, valued at over HK$1 million. Registration for the Lucky Draws is easy: eligible Hong Kong residents who have not yet registered can sign up online at www.hldluckydraw.hk simply by providing their HKID Card number and mobile number and confirming their eligibility. As of 6:00 p.m. on 8 July 2021, more than 930,000 people have successfully registered for the Scheme.

Each 1st Draw winner, upon receiving an SMS notification from the Organiser, must visit the designated Prize Redemption Centre(s) in person from 12 July 2021 (Monday) to 27 July 2021 (Tuesday) to redeem his/her prize, and bring along his/her original Hong Kong Identity Card and the original hardcopy or electronic record of his/her COVID-19 vaccinations issued by the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Government. If any winner fails to redeem his/her prize during the designated redemption period, the winner will be deemed to have given up his/her prize and his/her rights to redeem it.
