Henderson Development Group “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” Lucky Draws to Open for Online Registration on 21 June 2021

The “Early Vaccination Incentive Scheme” launched by Henderson Development Group will open for online registration at 9:00 a.m. (Hong Kong time) on 21 June 2021. The Scheme comprises six Lucky Draws and all interested and eligible participants must register online via the designated website at www.hldluckydraw.hk. The Lucky Draws are open to Hong Kong residents (including permanent and non-permanent Hong Kong residents, as well as employees of the Group) who are aged 18 or above and have received their two COVID-19 vaccine doses in Hong Kong. Starting from 21 June 2021, the public can register for and access details of the Lucky Draws, including eligibility, draw dates, and terms and conditions, on the website.

The Scheme is aimed at motivating and incentivising the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible, and at building a safety net for the city. The timetable for the Lucky Draws is as follows:

*The registration cut-off time for each of the Lucky Draws is 11:59 p.m. (Hong Kong time).

Each participant will need to register ONCE only. For the first five Draws, if an eligible participant does not win any prize in a Draw, he/she will automatically enter the subsequent Draw. All eligible participants, upon successful registration, are entitled to participate in the Grand Draw, regardless of whether he/she has won a prize in the first five Draws. Winners of each Draw will be announced on the designated website at www.hldluckydraw.hk, and will be published in two local newspapers, namely The South China Morning Post and The Sing Tao Daily. Winners will also be notified individually via telephone or SMS to their registered Hong Kong mobile phone number within five days of the Draw date.

For each of the first five Lucky Draws, 20 winners will each receive one tael of 9999 gold as a “Gold Prize”. For the Grand Draw to be held in September, one winner will receive the First Prize of 60 taels of 9999 gold (valued at over HK$1 million); two winners will each receive the Second Prize of 30 taels of 9999 gold; and eight winners will each receive the Third Prize of 10 taels of 9999 gold. Additionally, a “Chill Prize” will be given away for each of the Lucky Draws, in which 100 winners will each receive HK$1,000 worth of shopping mall e-vouchers, and another 100 winners will each receive HK$1,000 worth of cash coupons. The six Lucky Draws will give away a total of more than 1,300 prizes.

At the time of prize redemption, each winner is required to prove his/her eligibility to the Organiser by presenting his/her original Hong Kong Identity Card and the original hardcopy and/or the electronic record of his/her COVID-19 vaccinations issued by the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Government, as well as by giving the Organiser written consent to verify his/her vaccination record with the Government.

The Lucky Draws are sponsored by the Henderson Development Anti-Epidemic Fund, a privately-financed charity established by Henderson Land Group’s Chairmen Dr. Lee Ka Kit, Peter and Mr. Lee Ka Shing, Martin. The Lucky Draw winners will be randomly drawn by a specialist computer system designed by an external service provider, Ernst & Young Advisory Services Ltd. An independent auditing firm, KPMG, will be performing procedural checks on the key processes and systems controls relating to the Lucky Draws. The Draws will be witnessed by a representative of KPMG. The Trade Promotion Competition Licence No. is 54425.
