Assistant Project Manager - Sustainability / ESG

Responsibilities:
  • Execute formulated strategy for the company’s sustainability projects
  • Work with internal and external parties to prepare company’s sustainability reports
  • Execute, promote, monitor and evaluate company’s sustainability projects
  • Communicate and liaise with internal departments and external sustainability consultancy firm through project delivery
  • Deal with sustainability rating agencies to communicate company’s sustainability developments
  • Support the team in implementing sustainability projects through data collection & analysis to meet company’s KPIs and targets
  • Research the latest global sustainability trend & incorporate them into company’s sustainability strategy and content
  • Create & maintain sustainability related contents for company’s website and other relevant channels
  • Conduct quantitative & qualitative analysis for compiling and consolidating reports
  • Handling any sustainability project related ad hoc duties
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Environmental Science, Engineering or any qualifications demonstrating the understanding of sustainability
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience with HKEx / GRI reporting or sustainability compliance work for listed companies is preferred
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and knowledge of dealing with sustainability rating agencies
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting / verification and energy efficiency assessments and familiarity with prevailing international sustainability standards
  • Able to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong research and analytical skills with excellent attention to details
  • Proficiency in computer applications including data and financial analysis tools and familiar with MS Office and Chinese Processing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential
  • Good planning, organization and project management skills
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team player and able to work independently under tight deadlines
